Free Natural Text to Speech Reader 6.0
Publisher's Description:
Free Natural Text to Speech Reader - This is a free and fully functional text-to-speech software with Microsoft Voices.
NaturalReader software is a professional text to speech program that converts any text into spoken words. It lets you listen to text instead of reading on screen! Just one click, you can have your computer speak any text aloud in a clear, natural sounding human voice.
It's never been so easy to use a text-to-speech program. As long as the software is running, just press Control plus F9, and you can have the computer speak any selected text on the computer screen.
You can choose to copy and paste text to the reading area of the software, or more conveniently, with the add-in toolbars in the Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Outlook programs, you can listen to any online news, web information, Word documents, Presentation files and emails without copy and paste.
The software also allows you to convert text into an MP3 or WAV audio file, so you can listen later or burn it into a CD.
By moving the Speed bar, you can adjust the reading speed to your preference. You can also change the speaker you want by clicking the Speaker menu.

Not too much of a chance yet
While I look forward too trying the product more, I have not given it too much of an opportunity at this point to wow me.
I do note that on the version I have it is not possible to speed up voices and there is only one. Therefore, I have preferred not to use it very much. I assume if I choose to buy it that the voices as well as the speed can be altered.
Meanwhile, thanks for the product. It is a consideration and I may download a fuller version at some point. (Reading is a problem for me and I prefer not to) (Rather I should say, my eyes prefer me not to. :-)
Thanks again. Peace.
Eric

Reads only limited amount of text
If the relatively small amount of text that is read is a function of the free version only it is not clear. Would not purchase full version because there is doubt that it would handle any more text than free version.
